 Arc 1 abstract:

The story focuses on a main character, who is a scientist, finding himself transported into another "world" in his sleep. Trying to find a way back home, the MC quickly learned the superficially blissful looking world is dubbed by the local inhabitants as "hell" where progress and stability of life is waived by the deities in heaven due to the "sin" humanity made ~2XXX years ago. The deities executed the punishment by presenting humanity with the 4 calamities, each resembling the Sky, Earth, Water and Underworld. Should they be taken down, the deities promised freedom for humanity from the perpetual cycle of hope and despair. Countless of heroes have tried to subjugate the calamities, just to fall. The perpetual cycle of hope and despair have led many of the local inhabitants to accept their fate and worship the calamities and barring anyone from harming them. The MC, who is eager to know if he had been transported to another world, or had actually died in his sleep and that this is the punishment he has to go through for not worshiping the deities hard enough, he decided to explore hell to find answers; and taking down the 4 calamities may seem to be the only answer for him. Granted with the power of appraisal that allows the MC to understand the nature and intentions of every objects and markings, together with his pragmatic approach to problem solving, slowly decodes the secrets and the truths about the "sin" humanity committed, the true nature of the calamities, and ultimately who are the true deities residing in heaven.

Theme:
1) Blind beliefs.
2) Justification of self suffering.

3) Justifying oppression from one's fear.

4) Revering fear than to oppose it.

General world structure:
2 general factions, one is the believer/worshiper faction who resides in the holy land. The other just lives everyday life succumbing to eternal punishment, the Athiest Faction.

General power strucutre:
Type 1) Creation (common) : Generates object from thin air. This can be in the purest element such as water, or complex materials like swords. They stay for as long as the user is capable of maintaining their ley line circuit. Can only make items that does realistic things (can't make sword that somehow shoots laser beams).

Type 2) Manipulation (common) : Controls what are already present in the world: telekinesis, energy bending, specific elemental bending, and mental bending. Mental bending only comes with being able to charm others to do their bidding, there are no other ways to control the mind. Telekinesis is rarest.

Type 3) Definition/Themed/Imaginary (rare) : Generate/manipulate object to create a certain blessing/curse/damage depending on what it based on. The only known Definition/Themed/Imaginary power is Flower Theme, Rune Theme and Gem Theme.

Example: Flower Theme allows the creation of flowers with each flower creates different sort of blessing/curse/physical attack. Sunflower mode cleanses negativity, and also give bright light. Rose mode charms the enemy, but also physically can be stabbed with the thorns. Rhododendron mode curses the target and inflicts mental damage (not sure how it works yet). The users have to obtain the essences of each flowers they wish to use, but studying and extracting the essences can take years for just one flower.
Gem theme requires the user to have a set of physical gems to generate spells, can't be made out of Creation power, must be natural. These people tend to go broke real fast.

Rune theme requires the user to obtain runes made by expert rune makers to convey a power. The power output depends on the strength of the rune used. Given there are no rune makers in the present time of Arc 1, rune users are regarded as useless. Many rune themed people wants to prove themselves by going into ancient dungeons/ruins to obtain old and powerful runes just to lose their lives.

Type 4) Nothing (almost everyone): Just pure physical. Some people have very high ley reservoir in them, which if controlled well, can increase their physical strength tens to hundreds to thousands fold. Otherwise it can explode and the user dies. Mastering this can counter almost any power from type 1-3.

Type 5) Others (unknown): Ranges in things that don't fit criteria 1-4. Example: appraisal, mind reading, shapeshift, etc. Unknown because it fluctuates from generation to generation.

Type 6) Dependent (very rare): The world records the heroes, be it humans, elfs, minotaur, sirens or gorilla, and generate a copy out of them that would watch over humanity for a potential suitor that they feel fit to "possess." For example, the honorable supreme court judge in the "Athiest Faction" is possessed by the Dependent "Justice," who was once a human that judged all beings equally and bring down corrupt monarchy 3000 years ago. The power is to enable the user to temporarily borrow their power from Type 1-5. Usually blessed on birth, but in rare situation one can obtain later in life.

General knowledge of the calamities:
Calamity of the Land: Resembles an elephant, but ear, tusk and eyeless. Have 6 legs however. Towers to the clouds and seemingly to walk with no destination most of the time.
Power: Instils all the fear you have and amplify upon gazing the creature. The closer the higher the effect.

Calamity of the Underworld: A dead remnant of the once giant worm covering the horizon. Only bones left. If clouds touches the bones, the clouds are enhanced to "Marked Clouds" where it will shoot out lighting to any objects, turning them to crystal. Irreversable damage on human.

Power: Creating any objects into crystal, should any Marked Clouds are around.

Calamity of the Sky: ?

Calamity of the Ocean: No one have seen the creature in the water and live to tell the tale. However there are documented observation when it jumps out of the water. All who witnessed stated the same things: the horizon was covered. However it is unknown why there are no water disturbance when it lands back into the water, even though the size should generate Tsunami...

Power: -

Party composition:
The MC:
Power: Type 4 and 5 apparisal.
Capable of appraising everything in life, such as ancient runes, texts, gestures, etc. Capable of learning any skill from books of different languages, albeit takes a while and mental strain. The depth of appraisal depends on how clear the texts/objects are, the complete the better.

2nd member :

Met through the early part of adventure of the MC. Exiled from his hometown for always trying to be creative in ways to beat traditional sword fight and calling the art stupid for believing that the enemies will always abide to the art's rules. His goal is to show that unorthodox way of fighting is not wrong and would like to make a name of himself for not being the norm.

Power: Type 4 only
Wields 2 hook like iron stick that can break spear/swords. Can also deflect arrows as well if done quickly.

3rd member XXX: Found relatively soon after the 2nd member. Was trapped in an obisidian looking structure and initially is very agressive with the 2nd member and the MC. Shrouded in mystery, she joined the party as she shows interest in what the MC is trying to do. Interestingly she often recognize ancient texts.

Power: Type 3 and 4, flower theme.

4th member XXX: Found in a bar. 2nd member was drunk and found she is attractive and jokingly invited her to the party. Noticing that the MC is not charmed by her at all, she forced her way to join the party. What is her intention with the MC?

Power: Type 2, charmer. Incapable of Type 4.

Eliza: 5th member. Only 12 years old found by the MC and 4th member by the street in a big city. She's blind and does not have any limbs, and this is due to the fact she was born of elf and human hybrid, a forbidden practice that would either generate a very powerful human-elf hybrid at a very low chance, or a crippled child. Out of pity, the two adopted her on the spot. However from being blind and limbless, she has sharped her innate Type 2, telekinesis power, which makes her full of potential. Initially seeking revenge on the society, she later developed one 1 goal in life, to make her adoptive parents proud.

Power: Type 4 and 2, telekinesis.

Arc 2 abstract:

After taking down, and exposing the calamities and false deities in heaven, the true deities have taken control of the world after 2XXX years. Progress have restored upon humanity, allowing the generation of large civilization. However, the MC finds himself lost. Learning that he had been transported to the another world, he still hasn't been sent back home. Working from the shadows, the MC turned into the "villain" to truly uncover what the world was like before 2XXX years ago. Learning the corrupt nature of the "rightful" deities and finding out the purpose of his transfer in this world, the MC have to now go against the world by being the enemy of the "rightful deities" to generate a new world order where humanity should not be dependent on these deities.

Theme question:
1) If everyone worship the same god of war, who wins? What if it is only one side that believes in the god of war?

Arc 3 abstract:

Transported 2XXX years post the liberation of humanity from the heaven, Eliza, a member of the last hero party who was presumed dead from the final battle, found herself in the future. She slowly learned that she was revered as a deity, together with everyone in the hero's party. Some worshipped them individually, and others enitrely. And some worshipped them as a welcoming community, and others as a cult. Many people in general who are living in the bottom of the society yearned for the day she returns to bring salvation to this world. Learning that humanity has never abandoned war, segregation, and poverty, which is against the type of world she and her party, especially her adoptive dad's, dream of ideal world, she has to decide if this world is still worth the saving. Even if she did save, how long would humanity go before chaos erupts again?

Theme question:
1) What if the deity(S) in our modern world were to reincarnate in an unorthodox way?

2) What if the deity(s) happen to hate what humanity and their followers has become?

3) What would a deity(s) prefer, in terms of ways to worship and revere?

4) Address the philosophical "god is dead" statement.
